Luke, I think your idea is great for backpackers and hikers. It is travel light and keeps things sterile. Your rationale has great detail and looks awesome. I would have however stuck to only one colour theme to keep things consistent. I particularly love the fact that it perfectly fits over the water bottle to release the tablet. Awesome!
It's obvious you've put a great amount of effort into the rationale - it really shows. Although a lot of research has gone into the product design, I believe the rationale could have been less wordy - more negative space would help in the readability of the piece.
As Katherine said above, the fact that the design has been tailored to fit on to existing water bottles is really effective - it opens up the market to anyone who uses store-bought water. Needing to design a whole bottle just for the hydration tabs would be a waste.
Luke. The overall presentation of your design highlights that you have worked hard and put in a great effort. Both your product and rationale compliment the target market you have focused on. As Anuj highlights your rationale is very wordy but I believe you could spread the amount of info amongst several pages to avoid bombarding the reader with so much information. Overall a great outcome. Well done mate!
Hey Luke! I think your idea is great and the final design is very neat and effective. Your rationale booklet is also very informative. I also think its very clever that the design fits on the normal water bottles. Would be nice if the product would be packaged with the water supply as scientifically im not sure if you can survive on the hydration pills only. Other than that great design. Keep it up :)
I think that your layout and design rationale is very nice. It shows everything that is needed and your huge amount of work. I do however, believe that if the drawings done on the "Explanation of the Design" page were just illustrator drawings they would be nicer, i don't believe they need the background image. All in all, an awesome rationale for a needed product. Well done!
